Thomas acts as Managing Partner at Dr. Pirmin Hotz Vermögensverwaltungen AG and is part of the Hotz team since 2007. Prior to his engagement with Hotz, he served as Senior Investment Consultant and Team Leader at PPCmetrics AG, a consultancy firm for institutional investors, as well as within the financial market and economics research department at Credit Suisse AG in Zurich. His former career steps can be summarized as follows: Portfolio management in the private banking field at UBS AG in London; Doctorate at the University of Basel on the topic of strategic asset allocation (graduated with the title Dr. rer. pol.); Licentiate at the University of Basel in 1999, majoring in financial market theory and econometrics as well as a post-graduate diploma from the University of Lausanne, graduating with an MSc in Banking and Finance.
