#  Depository Banks

The assets we manage are held by one of our depository banks and are held in your name. Your assets are managed using a limited power of attorney. This enables us to manage your assets efficiently, but for your protection we cannot transfer funds or withdraw them without your consent.

 <a class="el-title uk-accordion-title" href="">Which are the main depository banks? </a>Due to our high total volume, we receive extremely attractive preferential conditions from our depository banks Julius Baer, UBS, Zürcher Kantonalbank and Zuger Kantonalbank (in Germany: V-Bank and UBS Europe). These flow directly and fully to you as our client in the form of net conditions for custody account fees and brokerage fees. Thus, a substantial part of our [fee](https://www.hotz-partner.ch/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=109&Itemid=316&lang=en) is already covered by the costs saved on the bank. In addition to excellent conditions in terms of custody account fees, brokerage fees and spreads for foreign currency exchange, you benefit from further preferential conditions such as free withholding tax reclaim or tax reports, depending on your choice of bank. Furthermore, in our function as external asset management we represent your interests to the chosen depository bank and monitor them closely using our in-house controlling system.
